YOUNG FARMER MAKES BRISK BUSINESS IN HORTICULTURE

FRANCISTOWN: For Enock Mosojane, the current situation whereby the country spends billions of pula on food imports is not healthy at all. The 32-year-old proud owner of a three hectare farm called Enomos Pty Ltd says the continued practice of importing food from other countries is a time bomb waiting to explode.

“The country should be self-sufficient in food production otherwise it will be prone to external problems that happen in other countries,” says Mosojane.

He told the BusinessMonitor that contrary to perceptions from some sections of the society, farming is a lucrative business and not a vocation exclusive to senior citizens only.
