Police harass private media journalists

Botswana police service this morning violently harassed and refused private media journalists to access into the welcome ceremony of the Gold Coast athletes at the SSKI Airport. The offensively impolite police officers told reporters that they had strict orders that only state media should be allowed in. Photojournalists from the private media were forcefully shoved back while trying to do their job.
