Tshekedi inspires song and dance

SEROWE: They burst onto the scene in single file formation akin to what soldiers display on Botswana Defence Force (BDF) Day.

They displayed character, discipline and the love of song and dance as a tool to convey political messages at a public rally. Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) national choir from Molepolole shone last Sunday at the launch of the party's Serowe North West candidate in the June 21 by-election, Tshekedi Khama.

Their legs and hands moved in a synchronised fashion, like the metal wheels of a steam engine train popularly known as makalanyane terena ya magala.
