Mmegi: May you provide a brief overview of Collective Investment Undertakings (CIUs) Act and its purpose?

White: The CIU Act dates back to an old piece of legislation that was promulgated in the early 1990s and subsequently repealed in 2012. However, it took a long time for it to be reconstituted and the new Act commenced last year in February. It was a replacement of the old Act which modernises the legislation.
