Street vendors: abused or clued up?

These are the kinds of frustrations and disappointments that this child is quickly becoming used to as he gets initiated into the vending trade. He is learning the prerequisites and qualities that one has to possess if they are to make it in this particular business.

 
He is indeed learning the tricks and the various approaches and learning them very quickly.  He has become the epitome of patience and endurance at a tender age.
In the event that he gets lucky and a customer becomes interested in any of his products, the warm smile that he temporarily wears on his face cannot be ignored. He would with lightning speed serve his client and move on to the next one.
