Seeletso: The Chief who 'right tracked' the President

MMADINARE: The rural village of Mmadinare in the Bobirwa District is home to a man who could never be overcome by the blows that life throws at him.

It is the same man who came under the spotlight a few years ago after people interpreted the statements he made during a kgotla meeting to be an insult to President Festus Mogae.

But the man says while his language may not be the most polite, he is averse to the use of insults. "I find that seeking a polite alternative to any word often deprives me of the right to communicate the right message," says Senior Sub-tribal Authority, Phookontsi Seeletso, presently wearing a persona of subtlety.
