My HIV testing nightmare at a govt hospital

FRANCISTOWN: Although Botswana is still grappling with the devastating HIV/AIDS disease and its related deaths, testing for the scourge at some government facilities continues to be a nightmare.

This was aptly demonstrated by the treatment this writer and hordes of other enthusiastic Batswana and people of other nationalities bent on knowing their status were subjected to on Wednesday.

The Ministry of Health has been running campaigns promising Batswana that they are customer-focused and are guided by the spirit of botho in whatever service they render. They have also claimed to be ready to provide timely service amongst other apparently empty promises.
