Mother to sue for missing son

FRANCISTOWN: Tebogo Kefhitilwe, the mother of armed robbery suspect Olebile Kefhitilwe, whose whereabouts are unknown, is contemplating suing the government for what has befallen her son.

"There is massive evidence before the police that my son left Molepolole Police Station cells dead after he was assaulted by police officers," she says. The police know very well that my son was killed for being a suspect in an armed robbery case."

It is Tebogo's contention that the police will have to defend their actions in court.  She says if Olebile is dead, then she has been deprived of an opportunity to give her son a decent burial and she is determined to fight until justice is done.
