Moruti smells sabotage

Okavango Member of Parliament, Vister Moruti has accused his Botswana Democratic Party(BDP) colleague, Jonnie Swartz, as well as some senior officials at the Ministry of Works and Transport colluding with the opposition Botswana Congress Party(BCP) to ensure that he loses in the upcoming general election in October this year.


Moruti registered his frustration when commenting on the budget requested by the Ministry of Works and Transport, which got a thumbs up from Parliament on Wednesday.

Moruti went wild following Swartz's announcement that construction of Central Transport Organisation (CTO) workshops and staff accommodation will be delayed due to environmental problems.In his presentation of his ministry's budget proposals, Swartz indicated that efforts were underway to find a new location to build the workshops.
