FRANCISTOWN: Wherever he goes, Michael Kelebogile Mzwinila is dogged by controversy.

The same thing happened when he joined the Department of Civil Aviation (DCA) as manager of Sir Seretse Khama Airport.

After leaving DCA, he started numerous companies but he was jailed for 13 years for possession of mandrax. He was discharged and acquitted on appeal. He left of jail a bitter man and joined politics, first as a Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) activist,  before he crossed over to the Botswana National Front (BNF) after he was lured by the then president of the party Dr Kenneth Shololo Koma.
