Four-Tier Transport System Would Boost Productivity

The combination car - that hybrid model of vehicle that combines the 'sedan' and the 'van' - popularly referred to as the 'khombi' in Botswana lingua franca, has become the most popular means of transport, and perhaps the cheapest, next to the bicycle and human legs.

It represents the red blood cells that transport oxygen throughout the physiology of the villages and cities of the African continent. 

The combi, or kombi, depending on where one comes from, has endeared itself to tourists and working people across the length and breadth of the more than 50 countries that form the African Union, no less the West Africans, most particularly, the Nigerians.
There, the khombis serve as vehicles for the communication of political, social and religious messages, or simply, the reality of the working classes.
