The Tunisian fever should come this way

There is something about the New Year - 2011 - that says something about the insurgence of the democratic spirit on the African continent, especially in northern African, in the Afro-Arabic countries.

The quizzical scenario was the first to show its face at the Ivory Coast.  There might have been some logic to anticipating a dual presidency in Nigeria where the informal agreement is that the Christian South and Islamic north should rotate the presidency.

That might have also been possible in the new Sudan where south and north appear to agree on separation.
