Shouldn't the president have more choice on cabinet?

The performance of members of parliament and government in general will always be placed under public scrutiny for very obvious reasons.

At all times people have expansive demands for services and many other types of developments that they want immediately.
When that fails it is the members of parliament and the responsible government institutions that get part of the blame.


The effectiveness of these institutions was recently brought under scrutiny when Palapye MP, Boyce Sebetela, questioned the effectiveness of the current system which limits the selection of cabinet to members of parliament.
He amplified growing public concern that the system is no longer serving the public due to its inherent weaknesses. Proponents of this view point out that ministers carry the additional burden of the ordinary legislator who is already overburdened with colossal responsibilities.
