Purging of trade unionists, who is next?

We learn with shock that government continues purging the trade unionists for leading the first ever successful public service strike that went on for two months last year.

We learn that not only have certain teachers been targeted and dismissed from work lately, but vocal trade unionists such as BOFEPUSO Secretary General, have been recalled from their union duties to continue as civil servants, thus forcefully discontinuing their activism as trade unionists.

This is not an isolated incident. BOFEPUSO spokesman, Goretetse Kekgonegile, has also been suspended from work, on account of his activism and role during the strike that exposed and paralysed the employer.
