Decent work, not sex for pay

This newspaper has in the past few weeks carried stories related to government, civil society and community interventions that target commercial sex workers.

And other groups that are vulnerable to sexually communicable diseases, among them, long haul truck drivers.

In our perception, any intervention of consequence must take full account of the often conflicting remedies to the social aberration, depending on whether the society wants to follow the myth or deal with the reality on the ground.
