Compensate masimo owners

We are made to believe that the African wars of liberation were usually over land.

Even the pre-colonial wars in which various African nationalities were caught in violent conflict, it was often about land and its resources. 

It is not surprising therefore, that Botswana's first post-colonial government was rightly in a hurry to bring this all-important resource under its control. Technically all land in Botswana belongs to the state.  You can only lease the surface and to a lesser extent be allowed to extract water and minerals, but still all the land and what lies below it belongs to the state.
