Stanchart launches free withdrawals from other banks ATMs

Speaking at the launch of what looks like a permanent freebie last Friday, Stanchart’s Head of Consumer Banking, Michael Wiegand, said the service would help customers access their current accounts any time, anywhere in Botswana for free, including in areas where the bank was not present. “Standard Chartered Bank is committed to improving the livelihoods of their customers by providing life-improving products and services such as home loans, savings products and mobile banking solutions,” Wiegand said.

He added that by lifting this charge for up to four transactions a month, the Stanchart’s customers would realise significant savings on bank charges that they could channel to other uses.
