Stanchart bank opens second F/town branch

FRANCISTOWN: Standard Chartered Bank (SCB) opened its second branch in Francistown last Thursday at an occasion held at Nzano mall where the branch is located.

Giving a keynote address, the Assistant Minister of Trade and Industry, Keletso Rakhudu, praised the bank for the  good service it has given its customers over the years.Rakhudu said the bank, in its 116 years of existence, has proved that it is reliable and trustworthy.

He further said SCB has assured foreign investors that they can invest in Botswana to the benefit of its economy."The government of Botswana has allowed foreign investors to come and do business in Botswana. They will then save their proceeds in local banks like this one and it will help us develop the economy of our country, " he said.
