Stanbic is 'a leading supporter of mines'

FRANCISTOWN: Standard Bank's Director of Mining Activity in Africa, Peter Ford, has hailed the bank as a global organisation with expertise in all aspects of banking and financial advisory services.

He was speaking at a breakfast meeting hosted by Stanbic Bank at the Thapama Hotel in Francistown. Executives from mining houses around Francistown and from Debswana's Morupule Colliery attended the meeting whose theme was "Development of the Mining Sector in Botswana and Across Africa".

There were also top managers from the private sector, parastatals and Government.
