SEZA facilitates KGK Diamonds jewelley plant set up

In line with its mandate of boosting foreign direct investment and positioning Botswana as an export economy, the Special Economic Zones Authority (SEZA) last week hosted the inauguration of KGK International Group, a world renowned diamond company that operates in over 18 countries.

Headquartered in Hong Kong with over 15,000 employees worldwide, the company currently operates in Botswana as a diamond cutting and polishing company.

It also has a training institute that specialises in diamond cutting and polishing. SEZA Director of Investor Facilitation and Relations, Neo Mahube said the company is now diversifying its portfolio in Botswana by setting up a state-of-the-art jewellery manufacturing plant in Block 3 Industrial.
