Real estate industry to explore diversification solutions

The Real Estate Institute of Botswana’s (REIB) second national annual conference to be held in Palapye later this month is expected to explore ways to leverage on real estate for economic diversification.

Responding to Mmegi Business inquiries, REIB president Modiredi Maruping said as an industry and professional body, the institute wants to provide economic solutions that could generate sustainable growth, thereby creating employment and wealth of lifetime for the nation.

“The conference will be focusing on the central district which has the highest growth potential, opportunities in real estate funding, structures and facilities that are supported by local frameworks but are not being provided as solutions, and infrastructure development opportunities and challenges to real estate,” he said.
