No Internet access in most households, survey shows

This constitutes 59.4% of all the 610,000 households in Botswana.
In its latest ICT household survey for 2014, the national data office said the highest percentage, 15.1% of those unconnected were in the Kweneng East District followed by Gaborone with 10.4% of households with no Internet access. Central Tutume was next with 7.6% of all households with no Internet access.
It is not uncommon in this part of the world for parents to actually punish their children when they show signs of depression associating it with issues of indiscipline, and as a result, the poor child will be lashed or given some kind of punishment.
