Mahupela is new BCL General Manager

Mahupela has been the acting General Manager since February 10, 2011 after the departure of Montwedi Mphathi.In a press statement released this week, the chairman of the Board of Directors, Dr Akolang Tombale, says after the departure of Mphathi, the board had to ensure that operations and normal business were not disrupted at the mine.

After a thorough assessment and consultation, the board decided to appoint Mahupela as the new General Manager with effect from September 1, 2011, he said.
