Kombani emphasises centrality of info to business

The deputy permanent secretary in the Ministry of Trade and Industry, Gaylard Kombani says businesses and organisations representing the private sector do not seem to value information.

Speaking at a dinner to commemorate the 17th anniverasary of the Women in Business Association (WIBA) at Boipuso Hall last Saturday, Kombani said sound decision-making depends on information and that businesses and their representative bodies ought to place a high value on information.

"Information is what your business competitors call business intelligence or market intelligence."
