FRANCISTOWN: Chamber of Mines CEO Charles Siwawa said Francistown has the potential to become Botswana’s mining supplies hub. Speaking at the Francistown Investment Forum (FIF2014) last week, Siwawa said Botswana is rich with mineral resources that are estimated to be worth trillions of US dollars.

Explaining further how a hub functions, Siwawa said a hub consolidates and distributes consumables, capital equipment and spares and operates as a wholesaler of goods with shared logistics and IT services.
