FSG eyes further regional expansion

Funeral Services Group (FSG) says its considering expanding in more countries in the region after establishing its footprint in Zambia.

The Botswana Stock Exchange (BSE) listed company says while the Botswana market was challenging in the first six months of the year, operating performance in Zambia was better, although the Kwacha volatility negatively impacted on Pula revenues.

“In a challenging environment, especially Botswana’s market, the group’s performance during the first half of 2014 showed good growth in revenue and profit before tax.
