FCC Looks Into Vendors' Proposal

The Francistown City Council (FCC) is currently looking into a proposal that could result in vendors who are scattered all over the street in Botswana's second city being recognised as pivotal players in the city's economic growth.

The proposal is aimed at persuading the council to construct permanent stalls along the city's most frequented streets.

City Clerk, Kutlwano Matenge has confirmed that the vendors have made a proposal to the council and that they are working round the clock to ensure that the suggestions are beneficial to both the local authority and the vendors.
