In order to undertake a constant review of the state of the country’s engineering infrastructure, the Botswana Institution of Engineers (BIE) will develop a national Infrastructure Report Card (IRC) during the second half of next year.

Responding to BusinessWeek enquiries this week BIE president, Oagile Kanyeto said the IRC seeks to ensure that appropriate advice can be given as regards to operation, maintenance, repair, or replacing of the infrastructure.
