Discovery to explore for manganese in southern Botswana

BSE-listed Discovery Metals has been awarded 16 prospecting licences, paving the way for the company to start exploring for manganese in the southern part of the country.

According to a statement released by Discovery, which already owns the Boseto copper project in Maun, the new prospecting licences cover "all metals" over an area of 14 425 km2.

Managing Director, Brad Sampson says the recently granted tenements allow Discovery to expand its exploration initiatives into a new area of Botswana and potentially search for a new metal.
