A well-designed and installed solar geyser system can save up to 50 percent off an individual’s electricity bill, according to a local natural resource development company.

Kgalagadi Resources Development Company, trading as Solar Power Botswana, believes that once a person has converted their geyser into solar powered-water heater, they will have a peace of mind knowing that they will nearly always have hot water.

It is for this reason that the solar energy firm, focused on tapping into the country’s abundant solar energy resource, is encouraging people to adopt the usage of solar water heating system.
