Business Botswana Courts Japan Investors

Botswana Business (BB) last week hosted a business delegation from the Japanese Business Federation seeking to lure investments and joint ventures with companies from the Asian economic giant.

The Japanese Business Federation is an economic organisation with a membership that comprises 1,329 representative companies of Japan. Member companies of the Japanese Business Federation specialise in different fields such as construction, engineering, trade and investment.

Speaking during the seminar, BB president, Leta Mosienyane, said this was an appropriate time for Botswana and Japan to engage in joint ventures as BB was all about advocating for a private sector driven economy.
