BCL smelter stimulates delegates' curiosity

The base metal industry is facing many challenges that can only be overcame if players work together, says the General Manager of BCL, Montwedi Mphathi.

Delivering the keynote address at the week-long Southern African Institute for Mining and Metallurgy (SAIMM) Fifth Base Metal Conference in Kasane this week, Mphathi said for them to succeed in this volatile environment, industry players must share knowledge and that conferences such as the one he was addressing were the right platform to do so.

Among the participants showcasing their products and services for potential new business relationships and collaborations are RSV, New Concept Mining, InnovX Africa, Panalytical, Protea Mining Chemicals, Scanmin, United Spectrometer, SGS and BCL.
