Alexander Forbes Clarifies Roles

The managing director of Alexander Forbes Financial Services Botswana (AFFS) Paul Masie, and Alexander Forbes group chief executive officer based in South Africa Peter Moyo, says the company is not an asset manager, but a financial services advisor to pension funds regarding where to invest their money.

The two were responding to widely-held perceptions that the company's profile in the Botswana pension fund industry was of a conflict of interest.

Moyo assured the industry that 'our business is advise based' with the best team of advisors and promised that their consultants are a premium in the industry.
