African Copper On Track - CEO

Despite an 8.2 percent increase in the initial cost estimate for the flotation concentrator and related facilities made in 2006, African Copper is pleased with progress at Mowana Mine.

CEO Joseph Hamilton said in a statement that the revised total cost estimate now stands at about 33.1 million pound sterling.

"We are very pleased with the progress being made in the development of the Mowana Mine," Hamilton said. "The processing plant remains on track for completion by the end of 2007."
