AB targets 6.5 % passenger growth rate

Briefing the media this week, AB general manager, Ben Dahwa said the company has been posting losses for the past years but support from the government will help its turnaround.
From 2009 annual passenger growth rate was above five percent but it has declined to 0.5 percent in 2012.
The situation is exacerbated by the ruling party’s admission that some of its most important election promises remain unfulfilled. This is not the change many Batswana had expected. The UDC was elected into power on a strong promise to improve lives, create jobs, protect workers and repair public services.
