A tree cannot germinate from the soil without a seed being put on the ground. Moreover it cannot be expected to yield an abundant harvest if it is not watered or fertilised. You need to put in more effort in servicing your car for it to run smoothly and efficiently. It will break up and disappoint you when you least expect it. The basic principle is that you must act to provoke the outcome that you desire or aspire. It is so unfortunate that we are not really aware of ourselves. Hurt, disappointments and betrayal we have endured in our lives build us to be inaccessible and detached from the society we inhabit. Of course, who ever has shaped us to be as such deserves the feedback and character we yield back, but do we know how much of a culture that would persist? It is something that will never cease and it ultimately breaks relationships apart. It is hereditary, since the next generation witnesses it, they will assume it is the way of life.
Life has seasons, and today we may be experiencing summer where everything is all glittery for us. We feel better and above others and cannot relate well with those that are enduring a winter season in their lives, those going through touch circumstances, assuming that they are somehow not wise hence their situation. We do not extend our capable hand to pull them off the ditch they are in because of a certain stupid belief we uphold about them. Tomorrow, tables will turn since a season only lasts for a while and those who endured summer would undergo the winter. It is due to the fact that one way or the other, we must face a test that will promote you to another level or dimension of life. The test is through winter, which is inevitable. Winter maybe a funeral, organising a wedding ceremony, a job loss or a divorce amongst. How we respond to the help needed by those in the cold, surely determines how they will respond once we also hit the challenging situation.
