A year after the release of a flop No Name Requested, Thabile Mazolwana is back with a mouth watering new production titled The Black Empire.

Mazolwana's 1998 debut hit Isiponono still remains his best job in studio by far. It is the kind of album that any new entrant to the music scene could  ever dream of having,thus illustrating the Eastern Cape born disco sensation's artistic ability. Just after the first meeting, singer/producer Table Madiba and Mazolwana got on like a house on fire as Isiponono went on to sell over 80,000 copies in a few months.

For the first time in many years, the two men have re-united for the production of the Black Empire and they are a positively dangerous combination. Although the new offering lacks some of Isiponono's ingredients, it is set to remind the fans of the old magic.
