The Parlotones to perform at GICC

The internationally recognised South African rock band, The Parlotones, will be staging their first show in Botswana at the Gaborone International Convention Centre (GICC) on August 18.

Speaking to Showbiz in Gaborone yesterday, GICC Marketing Administrator Lorato Kolopo said that she is confident that the four-man band will surely impress as they have a very good reputation when it comes to their music.

She said that she is delighted at the response they (organisers) have been getting from Batswana who know and appreciate the band's music. "You can't imagine the hype we have had since we released the advert announcing the gig," Kolopo said.  She asserts that because Batswana already know the band, the marketing of the show is not that difficult.
