Sushi makes amends for botched album

Unheralded House starlet Kay Sushi(Kozo Mabuta) has released a much-improved single Celebration Time in a bid to make amends for her bungled debut album that was released last November.

The teenager's six-track debut album titled Lovers Of House seems to have failed to grip the hearts of local House lovers, and she has sought to 'make it up to them' with the latest offering."The idea is to boost the album because I wasn't totally satisfied with the way it was received," she told Showbiz.Oozing with confidence,Sushi said the single was in celebration of her future prospects in the music industry."I'm celebrating my moment of success because I think I'm going somewhere with my music," she said. She is excited about the single and added she was not shy to give it to anyone, hinting her unhappiness with the debut album.

"The producer has done a great job,I'm not shy to give anyone the CD,"she said."Not to say I was shy,but people made suggestions and I've taken these constructively and I'm working on an improved product,"she quickly added. The producer,Oteng Moshotle, popularly known as DJ Oats, said he was equally happy with the single."It's a nice track, she has improved on her lyrics compared to what I was hearing in the first album,"he said. But he believes her biggest challenge would be to market the album."The most important thing is too see how she will push it - you can have a good track but the most important thing is the marketing aspect.
