Splash back at Lions Park

It has been over two years since Splash last played at their happy hunting ground - Lions Park - but the disco maestros will be back at the venue, which holds different memories for their fans.

Some remember it as the best venue for the group to host its festivals as it provides a lot of space for revellers who often come in large numbers to watch the hugely supported South Africans.

Some still cannot forget that fateful night when a Ramotswa man was killed by the lions, which used to be kept nearby its fence. But despite this gory incident 'Manyora' kept flocking to the place en masse whenever Dan Tshanda and his groups performed there. Splash had simply become synonymous with Lions Park, especially to those fans residing in Gaborone and surrounding areas.
