Remember Peter Tosh and Steve Biko?

If you have never been to a reggae festival then I wouldn't know what your definition of groove is. But the Saturday festival held at Gaborone Civic Centre was something out of the ordinary.

If spiritual is the right word, then the Remembering Peter Tosh and Steve Biko Commemoration Concert was an adventure filled with reminiscent and impassioned live performances by local bands like Bingi Vibes, Basarwa, Ras Anada, Maya Roze, Sister Esther, I Jah Man States and Ras Judah from New Zealand.  Kabo Matlho and DT were also some of the guest performers amongst many other artists who blessed the night with electrifying acts.

Waving the Jamaican flag in the air, on a stage decorated in red, green and yellow mural paintings percussionists, keyboardists and singers kept the stage burning with the ever-soulful rhythms that seemed to vibrate eternally through the starry night.
