Passion Play billed for Rasesa

Hot on the heels of 2012's festive season smash hit, a local version of Phenyo Ke O (Pinocchio), Head of Drama at Westwood International School, Aldo Brincat, is embarking on his second (out of three) Passion Plays.

Brincat is again taking theatre to the outdoors with his new vision for a locally inspired, Passion Play, billed for March 23, 24, 30 and 31 at Rasesa. "Last year's Passion Play was an enormous success. We were so inspired by the response, we have decided to stage three in total, over three years," Brincat explained.

Like Brincat's productions, Phenyo Ke O and Cinderella, The Passion Play will primarily pay homage to Africa, using local talent in the form of dancers, musicians, actors, support cast, crew and management."The Passion Play will have many unusual twists and turns. For a start, it will happen out in the village of Rasesa.
