Music sellers urge local artists to up their game

Local artists have been urged to improve the quality of what they produce if they want people to buy their music and at a higher rate.

Cosmos Sibanda of MminaThoko Music Shop in Gaborone's Main Mall tells Showbiz that although Batswana aren't very accustomed to buying music; if one delivers what they want, they will definitely buy it.

Sibanda's observation is that in the years that he has sold music since 2008, there has been a steady decline in the rate at which people purchase music. He attributes this to what he says is the poor quality of some of local music.
