A mobile application developing company, Intelligere Media has designed a mobile digital application, which only plays an album from an internal player within a smartphone in an effort to thwart piracy.

The new application makes it impossible for one to transfer a song to another device via bluetooth since the songs are within the application.  The application is built as a Native Application and is installed on the phone, hence it cannot be sent to another mobile device via bluetooth.

The application developer, Itumeleng Garebatshabe of Intelligere Media, said the whole idea was to step up the fight against illegal file sharing.
