MC Maswe turns to God after critical head surgery

FRANCISTOWN: MC Maswe has entertained many with his secular music and the star is of the belief that he has done enough for the world and it is time for him to give praise to the Almighty God for protection and guidance.

Born Thapelo Maleka about four decades ago, MC Maswe has been in the entertainment industry for a substantial period of time. He is a darling to many due to his secular music, mbanxanga.Early this year, MC Maswe was attacked by a severe headache. Initially, he ignored the headache thinking it was just a normal headache. He was admitted at a Francistown private health facility before being transferred to Princess Marina Hospital for further medical attention. 

"Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I shall fear no evil for I know that the Lord is with me," said MC Maswe speaking in an interview."The headache was so severe that I could not talk over the phone. It was at this stage that I was further transferred to Bokamoso Private Hospital," said MC Maswe, adding that the medical attention he received at Bokamoso was not enough to heal him.
