The show dubbed A Cultural Night Out: Lobebe La Ngwao was a fundraising effort for Somarelang Tikologo Environment Watch, which was held at Maru-a-Pula School's Maitisong Theatre.

The variety of performers on the night, who ranged from Kora Awards nominated Dikakapa to comedians, poets, Indian and Japanese performers suggested real efforts on the organisers' part to treat culture lovers to an event showcasing diverse cultures.  However, lack of publicity prior to the show and a bigger show elsewhere in the vicinity eclipsed the well-intentioned show, with only a few showing up on the night.
