Mabuthoe, Gabasiane to feature at Harare Festival

The Harare International Festival of the Arts (HIFA) has invited two Batswana artists to perform at the April 30 to May 5 event in the Zimbabwean capital.

In its 14th year running, HIFA is a recognised six-day annual global event that showcases and promotes the arts in all their forms. The event attracts local, regional and international artists to Zimbabwe's capital.

This year some of the performing artists are coming from South Africa, Nigeria, the Netherlands, Italy, Japan and the United States of America (US) amongst others. Botswana's representatives are Poet Mandisa Mabuthoe and jazz artist Punah Gabasiane.
