Local talent continues to shine in Mzansi

Twenty-seven year-old Neo Naledi Mahloane, has graced our small screens on many occasions acting in roles that address issues that affect young people.Mahloane,was born in Gaborone and started her primary education here before relocating to Grahamstown when she was 13 years old to pursue her secondary education at Kingswood College: "I found it easy to live in a foreign country as I was living with my other family," she says.
It was at Rhodes University that Mahloane discovered her passion for acting when she had to take an extra credit during her final year in her pursuit of a BA Psychology and she chose drama. During this time the seed of acting was planted so firmly in her that upon completing her studies, she decided to pack and leave for Johannesburg to try her luck in the industry: "Although I had only done a clip for Queenspark before, the idea of acting slowly got into me and I decided to give it a try," she says.
