Speaking to Showbiz, the artist says that he started venturing into the music industry back in the day when celebrated local rapper, Thato 'Scar' Mathabaphiri, was the only visible artist in the Hip-Hop genre, but even now he is still waiting for his 'big' breakthrough.

This was also the era when the late rapper, Tupac Shakur was the biggest name in the genre.  "I was itching to record back in 1996, but I was not able to do so because production costs were too much for me and I could not secure a sponsor," he asserts.  According to the artist, his lucky break (if you could call it that) only came in 2003, when he met producer, Ernest Seakgosing of Chunkyland Music and Arts, and was then able to release a single entitled, Hip Hop Shower.
