Letlhafula a time of joy and cultural celebration

What started as an adaptation of the American Thanksgiving Day has now blossomed to stand on its own in Botswana.

The annual Letlhafula Cultural Festival, to be held on May 25, is this year marking its 13th year. It came into existence in 2000 when Botswanacraft set up its premises in Block 3, Broadhurst Industrial Site off the Western Bypass.

According to the Managing Director of Botswanacraft Oliver Groth, the festival started small with only a few people present.However, that has changed over the years because Letlhafula has now become a must-not miss annual event for some people.
